Recording

Before you record

Choose the aspect ratio from the resolution preset dropdown — 16:9, 4:3, 9:16, or 1:1 — depending on where the clip will be used. The on-screen frame overlay shows exactly what will be captured.

Recording becomes available once lip-sync analysis is complete (that is, you've submitted audio and the timeline exists).

Recording a take

Click Record. The studio captures the whole performance — voice, lip sync, animation, camera, and look — into a self-contained take. This is quick; the heavy AI render comes later, as a separate deliberate step.

If you're recording in a project that hasn't been saved yet, the studio first asks you to name it — along with an optional campaign ID, your name, and notes, which make projects easy to find and track later.

Once recorded, the take appears in the Takes Browser, ready to be added to the render queue.

About resolution

Takes are captured at a working resolution sized for the AI pipeline. The path to full delivery quality is: record → AI render → 4K upscale.
