Welcome to NK-Studio¶
NK-Studio is your tool for producing short avatar videos. You write a line of dialogue, generate a voice for it, direct the performance — gestures, expressions, camera — and render the result into a finished clip.
The avatar is intentionally stylized: expressive and slightly digital rather than photo-real. What you see while working in the studio is a fast, lightweight preview; the final delivery-quality look is produced afterwards by an AI render pass. This split is what makes the studio pleasant to work in — previewing and directing is instant, and only the final render takes real time.
Everything runs locally on your studio machine. There is no cloud dependency and nothing leaves the PC.
How this guide is organised¶
- Getting Started — read this first. What's on the machine, how to start it up, and a guided walkthrough of your first clip from blank workspace to finished render.
- Using the Studio — one chapter per production stage, in the order you'll use them day-to-day.
- Reference — what to expect from an AI-driven system, troubleshooting, and the full list of models and software that make up the studio.
New to the studio?
Start with Your studio machine, then make your first clip. The whole loop takes about fifteen minutes.
Note
The system is in active development. Some features are still evolving, and this guide will be updated as things change.
